Changed Gamertag

Well, I learned a lot of noob stuff the hard way. When I first signed onto Live, I knew nothing about it. Silly me! I signed up with a gamertag of Gellans Mom. The problem here is obvious to many, especially you gals. But nobody tells you when you create your gamertag to make sure it does not give your gender away.

So before I upgrade to gold again and wade into any lobbies, I decided to make it non-obvious. New gamertag is GuardBirds. Gellan is the bird...variations on a theme. If you enter the house, he might dive bomb you (!) Well, not really. It's not his intent. But most folks just seem a little skittish around a fast flying bird that likes to land on the head. It's just the biggest landing strip on my bod, is all. :) He doesn't stay up there. He likes it when I sit well, rather unladylike and have my leg over the chair-arm...he walks down and uses my foot as a perch. <shrug>

Anyway, he's my guard bird. He welcomes me home as soon as he hears my voice outside or the key in the door.

That, and the name reminded me of the YardBirds of late 60s fame, a band Eric Clapton was in way back when.

So now I can get into some multiplay without getting slammed as a woman before anyone even hears my voice. Maybe it's not an issue to the guys on here, since timmies aren't welcome, but well...you gals know what I'm talking about.
