Blog Ratings and the Type A Personality
I am interested in the reactions some of my writings have evoked.
A few of my observations:
The blog I thought was the dumbest, most embarrassing one I've written received the most "Thumbs Up".
The ones on gaming have received the most thumbs down. (it was just a survey, didn't voice a strong opinion).
The more thumbs down, the more positive comments. (eg....people giving thumbs down are probably not commenting at all)
eg; I don't see a correlation here at all....if the topic is not of interest, people don't have to read a blog. Why give a thumbs down and no comment?
Maybe I'm not getting the purpose of the thumbs up/down system.
Oh, well, I'm having fun writing, and i've met some really nice folks here!

Don't worry about the \"thumbs down fairy\". He/She hits every blog with it, regardless of content. Blog what you want, and the hell with everyone else! :-)
I have it happen to me all the time. I blog about finally getting a job after looking for months and I got a crap load of -1's......makes no sense to me, but it's what the people do. :) \r

Thank you for all the positive remarks on my blog by the way...I really appreciate it. \r

Oh yeah..I am going to post some female hotness tonight, some male hotness tomorrow....don't freak on me if you see boobs or sexy man parts (never dick or straight out pussy, just the suggestion of, lol), it's just part of what I do here, lol :D
I've always said the same thing to everyone that mentions the \"thumbs down fairy\". Blog what you want to blog about. You are doing it to please yourself and no one else.
The thumbs down fairies just can't figure out what to do their digits that would be more productive. Blog on!
