Best Christmas Ever!!!

So Christmas Eve, my daughter and son decide to sleep on the sofas downstairs and wait for Santa (9 yrs old and they still believe).  Anyway, I set my alarm for 3 AM and went to bed.  When the alarm went off, I put on my Santa suit and went downstairs with the gifts in a bag.  Both kids were asleep (or so I thought) so I started to put the gifts under the tree.  Then, I hear the voice of my sweet little girl say "Santa?"  I turned, and there looking at me were the most beautiful little wide eyes starring at me in astonishment.  I put a finger to my lips and receive a little wave.  As I finished and was leaving, I told her what a good girl she was this year and wished her a Merry Christmas.  She smiled from ear to ear and closed her eyes.


The next morning, I was greeted with a "Mommy!  Daddy!  I saw Santa Claus last night!"  I was so overjoyed at what I had accomplished the previous night.  If I live to be 100, I will never forget the look on her face when I first met her eyes this past Christmas Eve.  Best Christmas ever!

That is awesome, no, that is epic. The older she gets the more she'll cherish it and appreciate what you did for her as a child. Talk about making memories. That is making memories and a great xmas story!

Very cool Fox. I put out cookies one year....ok that's about as much effort as I like to put into things. They were delicious :)
