There is a bunch of hulabaloo about the COD 4 Beta and those that received tokens during this FIRST wave of invites.  Sure I'm not the best player or the fastest but I enjoy the game and will play the beta.  Will I play as often as some other Call of duty buffs?  Probably not.  But that doesn't mean my involvement will be any less important than theirs.

What is up with all of the whining about not getting an invite?  It is just a game.  Holy cow people.  I expected this type of grumbling and bitching from the little boys on the forums not from this bunch.  No one will always be happy.  And the Beta is far from over.  The countdown clock is suppose to be up by the end of this week.

Now, those with tokens.  I have a thought (yea, I know, does it hurt?) Download the beta to a one month gold subscription and share the new gamertag with someone else.  No it isn't the most ideal, but this way two people can get to play instead of one.  Work it as a time share, that way no one's real gamertag and info are compromised.

Now quit your bitchin and be patient.  The invites are just starting to go out.

Personally I would just keep your token. Plus, from what I hear, it is gamer tag specific so it won't work with a new one unless you get another invite.\r \r Let people whine. As you say, it is only a game! Did I want to get into the Halo 3 beta, you bet! But I wasn't willing to buy a game to get it. Luckily, I got in with the rule of 3 game and if I hadn't, I sure as hell wouldn't have whined to those that got in that \"It wasn't fair\".\r \r My kids were raised with a saying that they hate even until now. \"Life's not fair, it just is!\"

Just a side note, this is not directed towards my clan. I know you guys are bummed, but I didn't feel as if it was directed towards me.

pfff, anyone with their knickers in a knot over this with H3 so close is rather insane anyway... A real game is coming!

One of the emails I sent in is for a random ass account i rarely use. If I get a token for that one, I am def using your idea! \r \r and as for the whining....i think that if IW hadn't built up the hype and stated so many times that they would take care of the community and the die hard people it wouldn't be so bad.....

I know huh....Even if I'm not a hardcore COD fan...When I buy the game, which I will, I'll be sending the exact same amount of money into IW pocket as the hardcore COD4 fan...I can see how people could be totally bummed, but it's not the COD4 noobs fault.

You're right Dangle...though I can tell you that as a huge IW / COD supporter it's pretty disappointing. This isn't a demo, it's a beta - so I do feel that hardcore COD fans should have been let in - especially those that have followed all of the details on cod.com over the past 5 months.\r \r The tokens are gamertag specific, so I don't think sharing a token is going to work - but I can say THANK YOU for being so gracious. \r \r You might not be a sargette much longer due to your willingness to help out a clan mate....maybe lieuten-ette? :)\r

Stang, for the same reason you stated, I wanted to share. You are right that you guys area probably best in critiquing the game. I have no doubt you will get your invite soon!

I WANT MY TOKEN NOW!!!!\r \r :D I'm gonna play COD2 for a while to assuage my pain. I've played the Beta already, so I know what I'm whining about.\r \r WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAh! :D\r \r Oh well. Maybe tomorrow.

You didn't expect whining from the people on this site. You forget that a lot of people here are basically just really big, hairy 12 year olds.
