BBC Documentary team here I come!!!!!

I just received a phone call this morning from the BBC documentary team saying that I have been shortlisted for a position in their department.  How cool is that.  I applied about a month ago through their New Talent scheme and I had to supply two ideas for possible documentaries.  I can't talk too much about them at this stage but one of them was called "Halo Evolution".  I know, I know, it sounds like Halo Evolved but it is only a working title.


Out of hundreds of applicants I am now in the top 10 and I have a phone interview on Wednesday with the head of the documentaries department to see if I will be in the top 5 to be interviewed properly by other heads of department and also the head of independent commissioning which will take place at a documentary festival in Sheffield.


 


Wish me luck all and if this happens I might be calling some of you to help with this and perhaps appear in the documentary itself.

Good luck with that, let me know if there is anything I can do. I'm near Sheffield so I can easily go over there and have words with the judges. nudge nudge wink wink.

Man that sounds great! I'm crossing my fingers and wishing you luck as much as possible. That must have been one hell of a pitch! :)
