OK, first, in light of my beer tour yesterday, I spotted this "sign" on a friend's MySpace and snagged it because it made me smile:

Second, I was reading Wired magazine (if you know me at all, you know how much I freaking love that magazine) and I couldn't believe my eyes when I spotted a real, honest to God, Bacon of the Month club - I'm not kidding.  I had to share this with you guys - I'm still flabbergasted that this thing exists:

Bacon of the Month Club!  Unreal!  Now, TheGratefulPalate.com apparantly has other clubs, but how could you order anything else?  Included in your membership (I really am not making this up) is a subscription to the "Bacon Strip" which is a bacon related comic strip.  And, these guys have bacon covered pretty well - they offer Applewood Smoked, Canadian, Cob Smoked, Hickory Smoke, Jowl & Shoulder, Maple & Alder Smoked, Pepper, Premium Platinum Bacon, and Special Flavors.


Bacon of the Month Club.  Wow.
