That's way too many tank engines.  I have no idea why the wooden ones cost more than the die cast ones but I thank the Lord that my son has been collecting the die cast ones.

Tell me about it...my nephew loves those things and like you said for some reason the wood ones are more...doesn't make sense to me either lol

Ben's at my house with allll his new friends. FYI---don't watch your kids put (sneak) the wooden ones in the bath tub. It's painful 2 watch all that money expand : )

I hear you, we have them all. Wooden and diecast. My 1st son loved Thomas when he was young. I don't want to do the math!

A buddy of mine as the whole set too, but she got the train table ... not the thomas one, but a knock off. \r \r But like she says: from now on everyone knows what to get jimmy for a gift

We have something like this. It’s called Polly Pockets. We have dozens of Pollies. Luckily they each come with bunches of tiny rubber outfits that are too difficult for a child to put on and take off. That's where mommy & daddy come in, over and over and over again. I love Polly.

I buy these for a friends little boy. He loves those darn things. \r \r I think the wooden ones are the most desirable, hence the higher cost.

I could definitely give you a run. I would be scared to death to even try to tally, but add in all the wood trains, the wood tracks, the tables, roundhouse/bridge/quarry sets, and I bet its over 2000 bucks. In fact I think we pretty much have everything wood available and he has started on the battery powered ones...\r \r 3 years and the boy wont have anything to do with anything other than Thomas. Thomas DVD's, Thomas pajamas, Thomas lunchbox, Thomas outdoor toys, Thomas tents....its insane.
