Ok what the hell?!?! I play xbox like 30-40 hours a week, but since we've bought the house and i've been packing, sorting and dealing with all the paperwork, i haven't played xbox in like 2 weeks. So i fire it up today to play and i'm surfing aroudn the dashboard. I play a few inside xbox streams, then i start a GoW2 video download and my dashboard locks up ! WTF?! So i'm like ok... maybe my interent froze and the xbox is confused. Turn it off and back on and i get the fucking red lights. FUCK!


Well.... I guess if it's any consolation, i don't need it until November 7th. But seriously.... RRoD in the dashboard?!?!


 


EDIT: well.... i hired a ghost whisperer to appoligize for the neglect and it seems to be running fine now. It locked up downloading the GoW2 Cog vid. When it came back to life, i tried to re-download it and it died again. So i delted it and cleared the cache and now the download seems to be working. Strange.... no doubt it's on it's way to it's grave but for now it's still twitch'in :lol:


EDIT : arghh... no it's still fucked up... it keeps freezing.  Shit.

Sounds like it may have taken a bump or two in the move...I made the call to send my elite for a rebuild and new DVD drive, so I know how you feel.

ouch. well, I'm out of ideas...but I think they updated the automated phone system again, so that's a positive. I didn't have to repeat myself once...till the guy from India picked up the phone...

well at least you should get a quick turn around they are taking about 1 week for complete turnaround.

Make sure all your connections are tight.\r \r Unplug the hole dam thing and plung it all back in. sometimes it red lights on a bad connection.

Been my theory that the less you use it the more it fails!
