About a girl. PSYCHE! It's WoW.
Haki the Draenei Hunter is now lvl20. I didn't even do much. It's a bit disheartening to experience the XP-nerf in the old world. Kill a beetle, gain a level. (Kill a beatle, go to jail. NOT FAIR!) You now need 33% less XP to go from 70 to 80, meaning that only the last 5 levels are normal gain. There has been lots of Nerd-angst about it; we would get people who don't know how to play their class. An assertion that always made me chuckle. I know that I suck in some roles, so I avoid them. I feel most at home in the DPS-pool and I usually one-button in groups anyway. (And get praise for the fact that I play Hunter so well, go figure.) We all have our stories about the awesome tank that laid everybody low and then died like a bitch at the hands of a trash mob. The tank who has expert-rotation and a tailormade custom UI. I have never felt the need to use anything else but the Blizzard-UI and the only plug-in I have ever used was Auctioneer. I recently deleted that plug-in because it has become pointless. The current state of the AH just tells me to not go there anymore at any rate.
I selfpwned myself yesterday too, After being as frugal as two uncle Scrooges, I came up 30 silver short for riding-lessons! Without the XP-nerf, it would have taken me longer to get to lvl20, which would have resulted in me having the monies. I splurged on a new bow instead. I'm very well conditioned to not feel the need for a mount anyway. And even then I rarely mount up if I finally do have the riding-skill.
PSU
I didn't play PSU yesterday. Both my PSU friends had other games to play. Not surprisingly, I wasn't bothered. There are better MMO's.
SWTOR
Still having a bad taste in my mouth, I didn't log on yesterday. The thought of having to escape Kaas City made me shudder. Cities in SWTOR are a chore. Fun fact about Kaas City.., Kaas is dutch for Cheese. How apt a name for that sludgepit! Cheese City! Cheesy it is, for sure! Gonna try again today. I don't want this aspect of the game to hold me back. And I don't want to go on record as the guy who quitted the game because he got lost in Cheesy Town. ROFL!
