A new job for the new year

Well this past year has been very rough for my family, I lost my job, 3 of my grandparents passed away in a 3 month period and just yesterday I get home from work and my wife tells me that my brother and his wife are getting divorced. So with all this negativity I really needed a boost. I applied for a promotion within the company I work for, I wasn't expecting to get it since I've only been working for this company for about 5 months. Well I found out that I got the job!! I start on Jan 2, 2007. It's better pay, I get my own office space, and no more shift work. 8am - 4pm Monday to Friday!!! WOOT!! I can't wait for the new year, merry Christmas everyone.
