2 new 360s received…sort of.

Yesterday we came home to find a very heavy box sitting on our doorstep….inside were 2 Xbox 360s I ordered from Half.com….and when I say 2 xboxes….I’ll have to check to make sure all the pieces are there….through no fault of UPS the Xboxes were smashed, one partially melted, the other had a hole drilled into the top of it…..and also in the box were 2 hard drives rewired to plug directly into the motherboards. After a quick check of the interior I found what I suspected, both 360s were mods….illegal ROM machines….. good thing we intend to completely disassemble them…no more bootlegging for these 2 systems.

we knew they were going to be non-working systems, but seriously, this guy went all Incredible Hulk on them prior to shipping

So, should I notify MS that I received the systems? Let them know that I will be destroying them and the mod chips(which I intend to drill a hole in and wear around my neck as a pendant)? Do you think they would like to know who I got them from? I imagine both systems were banned since each wears the scars of being thrown against a wall….one still has a sliver of drywall pressed into the corner….and the other appears to have been briefly assaulted by a blow torch….or perhaps subjected to a broiler as an attempted to fix an RROD….either way I have some interesting parts to play with.
