Jowan's fat cow, Ostagar and Lothering.

It turns out that Lilly, Jowan's fat cow, has learned that Jowan is to be made tranquil because suspicions exist that he is a Bloodmage. The pair, although mocked and insulted relentlessly, remain to see Majhika as their only hope and they besiege her to help. Majhika is not really of a mind to endanger her status as a prodigal mage within the tower and so she pledges to help Jowan and his human cattle, only to beeline to Irvine's office afterwards. Majhika explains all and Irvine orders her to see it through. Majhika rightfully reminds Irvine that it already has gone as far as it should go, but Irvine's backstabbing nature commands him to deliver a blow to Craigor too. If he has to lose a mage, so the templars lose a priestess.

After some shenanigans to obtain the right stuff and a lot of breaking and entry, Majhika, Jowan and cattle, the latter two not in the least phased by Majhika's inability to ease up on the insults, finally succeed in reaching the philactery, where Jowan shatters the vial that holds his blood. They make their way back to the groundfloor of the tower, where Irvine and Craigor spring their trap. There's lots of fingerpointing and surprisingly, Lilly bravely takes all the blame on her, confessing that she dragged Jowan and Majhika down with her in a mad quest to avoid Jowan made tranquil. When Craigor decrees that Lilly is to spent the rest of her life in Aeonar, a prison for wayward mages, Jowan reveals himself as a Bloodmage to avoid Lilly's grimm fate. At the sight of that, Lilly denounces Jowan who flees the scene. With no other mage to heap the blame onto, Craigor demands that something is to happen with Majhika, despite Irvine pleading her case. Duncan shows up and has the solution; Majhika is to become a Grey Warden. It's not really the ending Majhika was looking for...

Duncan and Majhika travel to Ostagar, where the King's army has assembled for the final deciding battle against the Darkspawn, to stop a Blight before it even begins. They're greeted by King Cailan, who's a Grey Warden Yandere regarding Duncan as his Senpai. Majhika thinks that the King is funny and is impressed by the man's ability to see Majhika for who she is; an over-confident snark. After that, Majhika roams the camp looking for targets to troll. She finds willing victims in her fellow recruits, Daveth and Jorry. Somewhere along that, Majhika manages to unsettle an overbearing mage called Wynne and she murders a captive for a key to a treasure-chest. (What? The captive was serving no purpose otherwise.) Majhika runs into Alistair, a young Grey Warden who has already undergone the rite of passage. Majhika doesn't think much of him and the man becomes a Jowan substitute on the spot.

Duncan orders the group, Majhika, Daveth, Jorry and Alistair into the Kocari Wilds to find some stuff needed for the rite of passage and to recover a bunch of Grey Warden treaties that are left behind in an old tower there. The group fights Darkspawn, uncover a demon summoning-spot, follow Chasind trails and suffers under Majhika's snarkiness. When they want to retrieve the treaties it seems that someone has already beaten them to it. A witch of the wild named Morrigan appears and explains that her mother has taken the treaties for safekeeping. They go see Morrigan's mother, named Flemeth, to obtain the treaties from her. Flemeth appreciates Majhika's inapropiate tongue and gives her a dose of her own medicine. Majhika and Flemeth quickly come to respect eachother and before long, Morrigan has her thunder stolen and finds herself reduced to second violin. Humiliated, she shows the Wardens out of the wilds.

Back in the camp, Duncan decides that waiting any longer with the Rite of Passage serves no purpose and they go to the old temple in Ostagar. There, Duncan explains that the Warden's power is locked away in their ability to drink and hold down Darkspawn blood. A simple ritual, performed by Alistair that proves to be a 'thank you for your service should you die right now'-speech sets the tone. Daveth is the first to drink and he dies. Jorry believes that there's no glory in going out that way and tries to escape that fate by attacking Duncan. Jorry dies honorably and so Majhika's turn to drink Darkspawn blood is there. It's a horrific experience that she classified as far worse than her Harrowing, but she's a full-fledged Grey Warden now. Since there's no rest for the wicked, shortly after all of that she's expected to be present at the last warcouncil before the final battle against the Darkspawn.

It's obvious that strategists aren't really all at the same page, but a battleplan is hammered out. King Cailan and the Grey Wardens form the Vanguard, and Loghain and his forces are to join the battle once Majhika and Alistair light a signal fire at the Tower of Ishal. So decided the battle starts. While in the valley two armies clash, Majhika and Alistair go to the tower to fullfil their end of the plan. The tower is however taken over by the Darkspawn, who burrowed to under the tower to successfully drive the King's forces out. With little time left, Majhika and Alistair fight their way to the top with Majhika finding enough openings to humiliate Alistair over little things. At the topfloor of the tower they dispatch an Ogre (Of which it is still a mystery on how the giant was able to get there at all.) and they give Loghain the signal he was waiting for. Instead of joining the battle, Loghain retreats, leaving the King, Duncan and the small army with them to die. In the tower, Majhika and Alistair are surprised by Darkspawn and riddled with arrows they die a pointless death.

But they're saved by Flemeth and brought back from death by her untold magics. Alistair gets mocked for his mourning the death of Duncan by everybody, but he is the one who has a plan. The best course of action is to travel to Redcliffe as to get help from his Uncle, Arl Aemon. So decided, the pair gets ready to thank Flemeth for her hospitality but they don't leave before Flemeth trusts Morrigan upon them against her will. Majhika has no problems with Morrigan joining and Morrigan herself is okay with it after Flemeth explains why. Only Alistair has some thoughts about it, but he gets humiliated by a Morrigan and Majhika double-team. Morrigan suggests that they go to Lothering first, to get the lay of the land. For now, that's as good a plan as any.

In Lothering, many things are going on. To Morrigan's dismay, Majhika solves the refugees' problems, aids the templars, eases minds and generally goes around doing good deeds. Luckily, Majhika is not above senseless murder too, so in the end it all balances out. Especially when Majhika strong-arms the revered mother into blessing them without pocketting a tithe, Morrigan's approval goes up. Along the way, two people join the travellers. One is a flake from Orlais, called Liliana. The woman is surely short a few sandwiches of a picnic, but the band needs an archer badly. Especially if that archer can open chests too. The other is a hulking hornless qunari called Sten, who's a convicted mass-murderer. However, his skill as a warrior is beyond reproach, given the fact that Sten is a qunari and wonderfully humorous. Majhika takes an instant liking to Sten, who's puzzled by that. It doesn't take them long to become friends, while Alistair wonders why he doesn't get that level of respect. With nothing left to do in Lothering other than to leave the town to the Darkspawn, the motley crew sets out for Redcliffe. They rescue a dwarf called Bodahn and his son Sandal along the way and offer the pair to join up, but Bodahn rather takes his chances alone than in the company of people who appear to be trouble-magnets. Next stop: Redcliffe.
