Woe is me!

After a long boring day of work I finally got home and was looking forward to trying a little Burnout Revenge.  Imagine my suprise when I turned on my 360 (which had been performing flawlessly for 3 mo.) to discover flashing red lights!  I tried reseting anything and everything I could find to no avail.  Finally I called Microshit to be told that I would have to send the unit back to them.

Four Hour - Review

Here is my first review of Oblivion after 4 hours of play.

Ok if you don’t have a High Def TV... Go buy one. In non High Def mode the game is ok, but pales compared to High Def.

Let us talk about the game, its good and bad points, its features, and its pain in the ass things… First off let us get the bad out of the way.

Whiners Disease

Recentlly reading Webmonkes post about TiDs has prompted me to write about another rare and more fatal disorder: Whiners Disease (WD).

A friend of mine suffers greatly from this affliction. Whats truly sad is that he is the person that got me into Halo and online gaming, but I can no longer tolerate his rants and have subsequently had to remove him from my friends list.

Since he nuptuals a year ago he only gets to play online occasionally and his skill level has dramatically dropped off. Considering that he was only a decent player at best; he really sucks

TID

Ill get serious for a moment.  Most of us go through life healthy, and it is only when illness strikes that we consider how lucky we were.  Well, when illness hits unexpectedly, it can be a shock, but it can really change lives, sometimes for the better, sometimes not.

Ive recently started gaming on my computer again, and managed to hook up with some old friends who were still playing Warcraft III.  I was saddened to learn that one of them has come down with TID.

Operation Web Detangle Complete!!

Well it worked..After almost 3 hrs I have finished my re-wire job for my home theater set up. Now it may not look much better than it did before, but believe me I am happy with the final product. Plus my new components work perfectly and my wife can figure out how to play a dvd without pushing 6000 button combinations!! Here are some pics:

Blog part 2

wow, I had no idea my previous entry would elicit such a bevy of emotional responses, particularly negative ones. I am both shocked and dismayed at the hateful responses I received from the members of this site after pouring my heart out to the 2old2play masses.

I just tell it like it is, you may or may not agree but that does not give you shortsighted and judgemental members of this so call "paradise" the right to attack me for stating my opinion.

Now, with that taken care of I can get on to the original topic I planned on addressing today:

The Quarter-Life Crisis

So, I think Im officially in my quarter-life crisis.  Its an earlier version of the mid-life crisis without the sports car or younger women. Pretty lame really.

So those of you that know me, know that I bartended my way through school and then got out and landed myself a "real job".  Restaraunt people like to refer to a steady pay check and a desk as a "real job".  Because really, working in the restaraunt industry is really just a J.O.B. - Just Over Broke.

Well, it took me two years to discover working at a "real job" sucks
