Chances are, you don’t have the privilege of being at the actual event — and neither do we. So, we’re our friends over at GameStooge are making due with live-blogging the streams set up on the myriad of gaming websites hosting the E3 2007 Microsoft Press Conference. Lets "watch" the show.

11:15 EST: A bunch of random Gamertags. Among them “SAU Barlog.” As in Cory Barlog, director of the God of War series? OMGZ God of War III Xbox 360 Exclusive!!!

11:30 EST: If this music is any indication of the 360’s place in the console wars, then Microsoft takes the cake!

11:33 EST: It’s started! Live Halo music, clouds in the sky, sensory overload!

11:34 EST: The band appears to be the one featured on Kotaku a few months back.

11:37 EST: Peter Moore takes the stage. Introduces the band from Libertyville, Illinois. Announces every game shown will be coming out this year.

11:39 EST: Live demo of Rock Band! Oh god no, Peter Moore is singing. He’s truly a man of many talents — singing and playing guitar at the same time, except someone keeps hitting start!

11:43 EST: Viva Pinata hits the screen in some kind of new game. Looks like some kind of racing meets jackassery pinata game titled Viva Pinata: Party Animals, a laMARIO PARTY Pinata Edition. 50 minigames, and new races planned.

11:45 EST: New Mass Effect trailer, definitely a 2007 title! November confirmed.

11:48 EST: Moore goes on about the Xbox 360’s lead. Xbox 360 has sold more games at retail than both Wii and PS3 combined.They think more about games than hardware, they sell MORE GAMES than anyone. Consumers have spent $2.4 Billionon 360 games/hardware.

11:51 EST: GTA IV, Madden 08, Halo 3 is “the perfect storm” this holiday. May drive 1/3 of all new game sales, driving “industry to record growth.”

11:52 EST: Montage of all the 360’s games coming up. Nothing seems too out of the ordinary, many are multiplatform titles, many exclusive — nothing new here.

12:11 EST: Shane Kim gets on stage. Microsoft Games Studios gets highest average review scores.Forza is the best selling game on any platform in Europe, a million sold by the end of July.

PGR4 gets demoed by Brian Woodhouse and Craig Howard. Motorcycles are shown:Honda, Suzuki, Ducati and more will be in the game, totaling up to 120 iconic vehicles. Tracks include venues inSt Petursburgh, Shanghai, and 8 more locations.

PGR On-demand: allows gamers to view and send photos and videos.

September release date planned for PGR4.

12:17 EST:Alan Wake, Banjo Kazooie, Too Human, Fable 2, Halo Wars, Peter Jackson’s Halo project — all builds up to a Lost Odyssey trailer.

12:20 EST: Games for Windows gets some new titles: Viva Pinata (makes sense) and Gears of War PC (surprise! — you can’t fool us Mark Rein!).

12:21 EST: Oh god, Cliffy B takes the stage. 5 new single player chapters, including battle with the Brumak! New multiplayer mode, arena. Brumak battle shown off, looks damn amazing — this better be downloadable for 360 owners!

Cliffy just said “XP!” too.

12:25 EST: Moore gets back on stage. Sega, Eidos, and THQ joins the ranks of Games for Windows Live. GFW Live support will be built in with Unreal Engine 3.

12:26 EST: 10 million gamers have used Windows Vista. Yet another montage, this time for GFW games:

Looks slick, smooth framerate, nice animations, and frickin’ amazing shadows and lighting!It’s like Killzone when the dude switches his weapon.You’re definitely not in charge.

12:38 EST: GTA IV trailer shown off — you’ve already seen it. Both previous trailers were running on the Xbox 360.

12:40 EST: Two GTA IV exclusive episodes will be available by Spring 2008. That’s it?!

12:41 EST: Virtua Fighter 5 on the 360 will be the only place to get online play.

12:42 EST: Resident Evil 5 trailer shown off, not exclusive — just first appearance. Very RE4 vibe. Africa? Middle East? Full trailer on XBLM on July 26th.

12:44 EST: Assassin’s Creed shown off in new gameplay demo. Jade Raymond! Everything you can see, you can interact with. Jerusalem is the selected level — never been shown off before. “Based on real historical documents.”

Fighting mechanics shown off: “very realistic, based on well timed combos and counterattacks.”

“No two chases will be the same.” Crowd provides yet another obstacle, lots of free running, and one dude getting stabbed. Hits store shelves November 2007.

12:50 EST: Halo 3 live action trailer! Neil Blomkampf directed it. Fanboys explode! Get this damn movie out!

12:53 EST: New Halo 3 Special Edition Console. Launches September, with matching accessories. Ugly as hell, no special features announced.

12:55 EST: “Before we go, let’s finish the fight.” New Halo 3 trailer — shows off single player gameplay. Definitely still Halo, tons of shooting dudes and blowing crap up. A lot of third-person turret action.Miranda Keyes was shown - Cortana fell like she died - HUGE battles - Arbiter.
