In other daily blathering, the diet, exercise and loss continue. My digestive distress took a turn for the worse, so I took a sick day. Now the rest of my body isn't feeling very good either so maybe I'm coming down with that flu that is making the rounds. I guess this will test my willpower to stay on the diet.

Good news is that Gamefly is sending Turning Point: Fall of Liberty. Sounds like the US government post-9/11, but it is actually an FPS based on an alternate timeline. What if the Germans, during WWII, had conquered Europe and then had started attacking the US. I played the demo and decided a rental would be good idea.

Mixed news is that Netflix should be getting some HD-DVDs to my door today. I might get to watch one today, but they both might have to wait until my 'weekend', next Tuesday, before I can take the time to watch and enjoy.

Oh, well. I had better take some vitamin C then take the time to fully analyze TheDastard's latest epic blog post...

Is netflix going to keep renting HD-DVD's? Are they just going to keep their current stock and continue sending them out?

I liked the concept of Turning Point and actually enjoyed the demo. If i had gamefly i'd probably give it a rent. Maybe i can find it at blockbuster.

They are not stocking any new HD-DVDs, nor replacing any current stock. The current stock will be used until no longer useful, then there will be none.
