Yummy Whiskey

So, I have just remembered what  a good whiskey taste like. I went out and bought myself a Christmas present. I bought a Bottle of Jamesons Whiskey. Nothing huge but what a great feeling it is to sip the smooth taste of Ireland.  In the past  my experience with whiskey has been less than spectacular. I used to drink cheap bottom of the barrel whiskeys which left me with hangovers, dry mouth, anger, whatever.


 


As I grow older, I am starting to become aware of the things that are different with me. I am starting to realise that there are things that matter other than beer. Now dont get me wrong. I love a good beer but right now I want to experience what it is to KNOW good whiskey.I want to be able to drink a few cocktails and not be bloated and feeling like I ate a cow. I am talking to you beer. 


 


Anyway, This is a nice break. I like having a whiskey drink neat every now and again.

Cheers and all that, but remember: The Scots taught the Irish how to make whisky, and then they started misspelling it as \"whiskey\". \r \r Jameson is good, however. But not as good as Glenlivet. Very few things are, though.

As far as the Irish is concerned, I prefer Bushmills particularly their Single Malts over Jamesons. You should really take yourself over to the Class VI and invest in their selection of Single Barrel Bourbons. Being that there are no restrictions on it (imported liquors are capped at 40% ABV) decent high end Bourbon tastes like it's supposed to, but do make a point to stay away from Tennessee Sour Mash, that shit ain't nothing but paint remover.

My advice isn't far off from these guys. Jameson's is good, but the older or single-barrel varieties of Jamesons or Bushmills are better. \r \r For scotches, try Glenlivet, Glenfiddich, or if you can find it and want a change, try Arran. \r \r If you don't mind a blended scotch, Johnny Walker Black is a good stand-by. \r \r And if you just want to check out reviews of good beer and whiskey every once in a while, check out the web site I co-author: www.threedrinks.com
