In 2002, when I first moved into my own apartment, I inquired about a Playstation 2 at Rent-A-Center. A brand new console cost $299 at the time, but they would have charged a total of $800 for a used one. I realized what a huge scam that place is, and never went back to a Rent-a-Center again.
It appears 7 or 8 years later, that 250% mark up just isn't enough. Now they have added vicious ass rape to their business model.

$134 a month!! 3 months of payments and you'd be able to buy it outright. I think maybe Rent-A-Center should be the ones getting sued.
