You ever interview for a job....

Do really well in the interview, impress the hell outta everyone only to not get the job? I had one of those....apparently I wasn't 'geeky' enough. That was the down low from someone on the inside. The director sat for four extra days trying to come to a decision and went with the geeky guy.


Six months later I see this:

Associate Director Financial Aid - Data Systems


 


A posting for the same position at the same school with the same responsibilities. Guess the geeky guy wasn't the right choice.

Well this time I'm adding an Accomplishments section to my resume. It will read:\r \r \"Achieved 10th Prestige level in Call of Duty 4 while maintaining a 1.91 kill/death ratio and above a 22% accuracy rating. \"\r \r That should to do it

Send a note to the director, mention the want ad and tell him you are still available at only 10% more than what you were asking for before.

a little late on the posting of this comment but yea happened to me alot. Hands down most qualified but passed up, why i dont knwo.
