Yet Another Coin-op Warehouse Raid

W
Waterborn

Well, actually it was a Barn raid this time. I headed up to Derry, NH with a crew from the New England Arcade Collector's Forum (NEACF) to check out a Barn full of goodies owned by a fellow collector in the area. This barn was packed with project arcade cabs, monitors, game boards, bezels, control panel, marquees and much more. Hell, I even score a trackball controller for my Atari 2600 today. So much good stuff, so little money and time. Here are some pics from today's run.

What good coin-op warehouse raid does not start with chickens? These were kept in the basement of the barn and in an outdoor coop.

Line up of monitors in the driveway. This was only a fraction of the monitors on hand.

Boards and other goodies lined up further down the driveway.

Part of my ever-growing pile for the day. By the end of it all, the entire back of my Baja was filled with chasis and wiring harnesses.

This train caboose is actually in the yard of a nearby game repair specialist. She plans to make it into an arcade as part of her shop showroom. She actually had real train tracks brought in so that the train could stay mobile and thus would not be considered a perminent structure (no permits needed).
