I really fucking hate people!! I mentioned in one of my previous blogs how I had taken a telemarketing bullshit job until I found a job better suited to my skills and experience...just to pay the bills, blah blah blah. Well, I had an interview scheduled for today at 2pm and when I told the building supervisor or whatever he ends up fucking firing me. My immediate supervisor didn't have a problem with it, he understood but the 'big man' really took issue with it. Saying that a call center doesn't have to put up with this crap, people are making money, etc. I said I understood that but that a call center was not my chosen career and that I took the job to pay the bills basically only until I found something in my field. He says 'Well, then get out there and get something else then' and opened the door for me!! Oh my fucking gawd!! I swear this is fucking bullshit...never in my life have I had to deal with this kind of crap constantly. It's fucking getting old.

Someone buy me a drink, will you?

Yep, it's usually best not to tell your employers when you take a job just to pay the bills. Nothing good ever comes of it, better to just do the job until you find another and just put in your notice.

That sucks. Some things you just need to keep to yourself though, telling a boss that you're just there until something better comes along... probably not a great strategic move.\r \r Good luck with the job hunt, i hope you find something you enjoy. And if you don't, don't tell your boss :lol:

It's a fucking CALL CENTER!! They have people in and out of there every fucking day, people who quit because they can't deal with it or whatever, they rarely fucking fire anyone. I mean hell, there was a guy in there the other day shooting up in the bathroom and they didn't fire him...'as long as he can do the job who cares' is what I was told. I am honest...I don't lie to people and if asked why I need the time off I'll say why...it isn't a big deal. I don't see why he made it so damn difficult.
