I assume (I already know I'm an ass) just about everybody and their lolcat has a face book identity but have you gotten a message from out of left field? In the last month or so I've recieved a few messages from a "friend" that went back damn near half of my life ago. I'm not sure how to respond to that. I'm not even the same person I was 5 years ago, let alone 15 years ago. It took me a solid day to place a name in my Roladex (do people even use a Roladexs anymore?) where I know this person from. What says you?

I like facebook for reconnecting with old friends from high school or college. Every once in awhile I get the occasional friend request from someone and remember there is a really good reason I don't speak to that person anymore, but recently I met up with one of those people and realized something about how people can change-\r
Not everybody changes.
unless they are looking to borrow money ... what's the harm.\r

Yesterday I ran into an old friend from university. I hadn't seen her for 22 years. A chance encounter on the street.\r

Her daughter goes to the same school as mine and she lives 15 minutes away in a neighbouring community. We exchanged numbers. If the day-to-day grind allows for a breeak and we have time, I'd invite her and her family over for a meal. If not - what's another 22 years between \"friends\"!! > 8)\r

Didn't need facebook to do that!!
fuck em right in the dirty yap.
they don't get notified when you delete them. Add them....wait a week or two....and delete them.
or just deny. I use technique #1 for family I don't like and #2 for people from high school. hey fuckers - I didn't like you in high school and I don't like you now!
