Wowie... So that was a FAIL!

SOOoooo because I'm trusting, two of you claimed to be a number off... you two will get a PM and Erica and I will make you delicious cookies. No bitching. My contest my rules.


On to regular life: last night we put an offer on a house. Didn't get it, but we were up till mindnight waiting. Ottawa is INSANE for housing. Things go up and they get a dozen people looking the first day, sold withing 24 hours. So: yeah... it's a bit tough out there right now. And realistically we have 2 weeks to find a place or we wait until after the wee one comes. Prices are stupid crazy too. Thank goodness I have all that sex slave revenue to fund the mortgage.


What else: gonna make home made pizza (and crust*) for the man and I for dinner: there may be bacon and cheese involved. He'll watch the game and I will possibly play some Nintendo DS.


but I have a confession though: no hate, okay? I enjoy JRPGs... but I am not liking chrono trigger. At all. I think that's sacriliage. but there you have it.  Are there any "sacred cow" games that everyone seems to love, but you don't like? Why don't you like them?


I think I am just off JRPGs. I think I have to realize that the relationship is dead, and I can't keep calling up JRPG when I need a game to tickle my fancy.

Do you have to buy a house right now? If not, you're probably be best off waiting until the market settles down a bit.

JRPGs definitely can create burnout. If you don't like a certain game, well then either you're not playing it right (to min/max stuff), you're playing it too long after everyone else and the glow of \"history\" has ensconced it so loftily that no human creation can rise to equal it, or it might actually suck, but no one has the guts to say it.

i seriously can't play those types of games. i have a hard enough time limiting my play with instant gratification games. i would surely be divorced and living in a gutter with my xbox if i chose to play one.\r \r good luck with the search. don't get worked up over it though. if you have to wait, just remember to enjoy the little one, regroup, and start back when you're ready.

Yo Chrono Trigger I'm happy for you am ima let you finish, but Final Fantasy 3 was the greatest snes rpg of all time....OF ALL TIME.

Even a mediocre JRPG is better than a \"stellar\" Western / Action RPG. Wander around aimlessly usually alone but sometimes with 1 or 2 characters that have no character in your party - good lord talk about boring. I hated Oblivion, hated Fallout 3 (although liked it much more than Oblivion), couldn't stand Mass Effect. I do like Dragon Age.
