WoW + Lag = KMFA

Ever since 4.3 dropped, my lag has been horrendous.  Not so much in Orgrimmar (believe it or not), but only during combat.  Of course.  Raiding with lag is like sticking sharp objects under your nails in an oh so special way.  Move a little.  Stop for a little. Push a little harder to catch up.  Stop again.  Well you get the picture. After doing much reading over at Whiner's Central AKA The Forums, it all comes down to an addon issue.  I renamed the Interface and WTF folders, go back in and... whoa... smooth as silk. 


You know what comes next


Yep, gots to slim down on the addons (hey, who knew 51 would be such a problem :P) ... so that is what is on the agenda for the weekend.  I'm changing to another UI pack, and will be going through the arduous task of setting everything back up before raid on Tuesday.


I think my guild will be glad to see me not die so much. :D  There is little room for error using Heroic Will during the Ultraxion fight lololol

start with any combat log parsers, such as Recount or DBM. I couldn't even log into WoW until I disabled the out-of-date version of Recount I was using.

@ Northern I finally decided to go with LUI and a few choice addons... I now have 17 and it's averaging about 20 megs of extra stuff, so it's running pretty good now.\r \r @ ATC Thanks!
