WOW, I need sleep...

So the LAN is basically over and I'm finally back at my condo. I can't believe how insanely big it was this year and how much we topped what we did last year. I truly wish you all could have been there to see. Every time i see a blog post, pictures, or even the live stream it just doesn't do the event the justice it deserves. Speaking of which , the comment I heard the most at the LAN from new comers was, "so this is what 2old2play is really about, I never knew." It's like you have to see it to believe it all. Every encounter is like meeting a best friend that you have known for years, but never get to hang out with. I already cant wait for next year and hope to make it even bigger and badder. Im so happy all the clans could bring out such a good showing and use the opportunity to meet other site members and realize how similar we all are.

Thank you to all the people that donated to Children's Memorial, the event, and all the planners who helped me run this thing the way we did. Thanks to Microsoft for donating more then $1,200 dollars in charity give-a-way gear on such short notice. That was truly aces.

After all is said and done I think we did really well for the charity. At least better then any year in the past. Hopefully I'll have some time over the week to pay off all my debts from the lan and announce our final donation on top of all the gifts people gave to CMH. Thanks again, it truly is one of the best events anyone from this site could ever attend, and the members make it that way. See you all next year....

P.S. Im sure we are going to have a lot more updates about the lan on the home page soon. We just need a little sleep before we get started. If you have photos from the lan, please email all of them to admin@2old2play.com

As one of the site members who couldn't be there, I would like to thank you for the Webcam and ability to donate. It was great being able to see some of the faces behind the gamertags.

great job doodi. Even though I am still in Chitown, I am bumbed that it is already over.\r \r Maybe you could start selling some rapel syrup to make some more cash for the charity..

I can't believe how much fun this was!!!! I didn't get a chance to tell you, and I know you have heard this a million times, but... Thanks for setting this all up, from the lan to the website in general. \r \r MikeJames, KS63, Kingpin, Mushroom Samba, IM LM, inf3ction, gophergoat, relic, phreak, and everybody else I got to meet, you are some of the coolest, friendliest, most fun to game with people I've ever met\r \r You rock.\r 2old2play rocks\r the lan rocked\r I gotta go sleep for a few days now, see you next year...

thx again doodi, it was a blast. Also getting to see the doodi dance in RL is worth the entire trip... :D
