Would you rather....?

I went for my morning walk with the dog and once again marveled at the quiet that is the morning sky.  There are some dark areas where the street lights haven't been connected yet which allow a person to view the morning sky, prior to sunrise.  There were a few wispy clouds left over from the rain/snow showers that had recently passed.  The stars seemed particularly sparkly and as often my habit I searched for the three stars that make up the belt of Orion.  Not that I'm a huge star gazer, just looking for a familiar sight.  Every now and then the bark of a coyote can be heard with a dog answering in the distance.  Otherwise, not a whisper of a breeze or human sound.  My idea of a perfect morning.

I do a lot of thinking during this time.  Nothing really deep as that may take away from being vigilant to my surroundings.  More like, "What ifs."  For instance, would you rather live without music or without TV?  Or, how about, Would you rather have x-ray vision or bionic hearing?  And one that is more geared toward this group, would you always lose or never play?

Food for thought.  I'll have more tomorrow.

That sounds like a great morning. I would just subtract the dog and add an ipod playing new age music. Sit in a safe location with a great view and take it all it. You are lucky to live in an area where you can have that experience. \r \r Live without Music or TV...? TV. Music is a love, TV is a hobby.\r \r Play and always lose or never play...? Never play, I guess. What is the point if the result is always the same - you lose, end game.

Lovely blog, thank you. I know exactly what you mean by those early pre dawn mornings. Things are so quiet and still. I am drastically a night person (though forced to be a morning person due to family and work) so usually when I experience a morning like this it is after being up all night, and before going to bed. \r \r As for your questions...\r \r In could never live without music. I am not going to be all pretend high and mighty and say I don't watch TV, I do, and even love certain shows, but music lets me work through emotions I don't know how to express otherwise. \r \r X-Ray vision or Bionic hearing...toughie. I guess it would depend on if I could turn the power on and off at will. \r \r And I would always lose rather than give up playing. I can still have fun even if losing.

X-ray vision and always lose, except at blackjack, cause now I have X-ray vision.

Hehe, good one CofC.\r \r Live without TV...pretty much do already. If you take my iPod, I'll table leg in your neck.\r \r Bionic hearing...that would be so cool.\r \r Last one's tough, but I'd probably not play. I'd have to win at least some of the time or it would get too depressing.\r \r Angel, you should make this a regular/semiregular topic!

I just might. I have some more \"Would you rathers\" saved up. It is interesting to see how others answer. Gives a little insight to their personality.
