Wing Commander
Wing Commander was a great space action opera with drama and cinematic flair drawn from classic movies. Wing Commander really pushed technology with each release with sound cards, then operating systems and video cards, it is to bad that EA shelved it with most of Origins great games.
I hope one day that EA brings back Wing Commander, it was really one of the best space games. The games sure came a long way

Prophecy was impressive because Origin put over 30 million into it for the movies and the totally state of the art 3D engine which could render ships that were bigger and more detailed then anything to date with out losing frame rate. But while it was impressive, it didnt sell enough to cover costs...
There were other WC games like Privateer, Academy and Armada which were good and bad.
WC3 is really one of the best reasons to own a 3DO.
