White Wedding

Hey ya’ll. A crappy weekend, but today was better. Two bits of news to share.

Number one: My friend Mags is shouting from the rooftops how happy she is. Before, her marriage would not be recognized by New York, being a same-sex union. Now, with a change in policy, her marriage will be legal. Text after text has her saying how happy she is, jokes on the issue, and asking what I am getting her for a wedding gift (waffle maker btw[secret]). I am glad for her. Now she can be taxed, charged, and penalized as a married couple (state should like that). Still, the fair legal issues that are there for them to enjoy as well. Happy to have that part tacked on their life together. I know the love and caring is there as we talk about what’s the news with wedding plans and work. I am truly happy for them.

Number two: Finally made it past level 20 in zombies (thanks SamSevenFive). WHOOOO. Hey, this is big news for me. Finally got to take out a hellhound. Hellz yeah.
