What's your favorite band?

I've grown up with music all my life...My grandpa was a member of the Musician's Guild-Seattle chapter.  He passed away when my mom was 15...so I never knew him.  However, his love of music transferred into my life.  I always knew I was gonna be a drummer, and when I got into Middle School, there was no contest as to what I would play.  In fact, my band teacher tried to get me to try other instruments.  NO WAY!  So...learning to play the drums, I listened to the oldies station and whatever music I could get a hold of....So, I'd put some headphones on and play to it. 

My absolute favorite band is by far, The Police!  Awesome bass lines, progressive guitar riffs..and a drummer that still keeps me guessing!  Stewart Copeland is the MAN!  Did anyone see the Grammy's this year?  Stewart still has the stuff!!  Growing up, I'd listen to "driven to tears"...and play until I had blisters trying to get the fills and rhythms just right!!!  View Image  Ahhh....memories!  View Image

My favorite band is Pearl Jam.

I was glad to see that the Police reunion was the opening act for the Grammy's so I could enjoy the music and turn that jazz off. I hate the Grammy's. That's the worst cherry-pick'n award show in existence. The Police rock!
