Weight Training

So, as I said in another blog, I am back at the gym.  I had a weight trainer set me up with a new routine along with 30 mins of cardio.  Oh, man......  I am now doing everything I was doing before, added 3 weight machines, increased my reps to 15, and reduced the weight, just a little.  And sllllooooowww....up, 1, 2, hold, down, 1, 2.  Eek!  That was a tuff workout, but I feel great!  And, I have already lost 2 lbs.  Yeh, I know, guys can take it off in a few days with little effort.  But, we women have to try harder!  It's just a fact of life.  Now, the question is, do I really just want to lose 5 (now 3) lbs? or maybe just a little more?  The jeans are already starting to fit a tiny bit looser........  I still have to get into that new pair.

keep up the good work! The hardest part is just making it to the gym.

Good stuff! Keep up the hard work! I was able to lose 170 lbs in 1997. I got divorced! :)\r \r I cut all the booze/beer, and I've lost 19lbs in ten weeks. I didn't realize how many calories I was consuming, even limiting myself to drinking on the weekend. I of course was trying make up for all the beer I DIDN't drink during the week....
