Weekend Blahs

Didn't get anything accomplished this weekend.  Nothing.  Blah.

The In-laws are coming in next weekend for the week of Thanksgiving.  Looking forward to that I tell ya.

I got destroyed again in my NFL picks for this week, but, so did everyone else.

We are currently shopping for a new / used car.  The vehicle I drive is a '93 Chevy Lumina with 210k miles on it.  It has been dieing a slow death for almost a year now.

We are looking at a used Sentra, or brand new Kia or Hyundai.  Does anyone have any of these or experience with them?  Our other car is an '03 Honda Accord which we love.

Pretty much a boring weekend.  Hopefully this week won't be.

I'd recommend reading through everything at carbuyingtips.com. The site looks awful but there's a lot of useful information there. I followed that guy's advice to buy our Civic and Escape and saved around $6,000 combined off of MSRP.

The Sentra is the best choice out of those or the Infinity Q20 which is the same motor (not the Q30).\r I recommend Toyota Corolla or similar or Honda Civic/Accord you will pay more for these cars used but will be a better value in the long run.\r Ask a commission based parts guy from a multiline dealer where he makes his money.\r Thats not the brand/models you want.
