Weekend.

The big thing to talk about this weekend (at least in the northeastern US) is the snow. Here's my back yard before/after, from Friday morning and this morning:

Between about 4:00 PM and sometime early this morning, over a foot of snow fell on southern New Hampshire. The mountain I live on generally gets more snow than everywhere else, so there is between 1.5 and 2 feet in my back yard.

The roads were horrific last night too. The snow wasn't supposed to be bad until late last night, so my wife and I spent most of the day taking care of errands, getting dinner (hibachi table at a Japanese steak house... YES!!!) and caving in to peer pressure - I ended up buying BF3 for the PS3 even though I still need to finish up the other shit I'm playing.

By 8:00, when we drove home, there was already at least 6-8 inches on the ground and it was coming down quick. My house is about 25 miles from where we were, and there were a ton of accidents, cars slid off the road and stuck in ditches, and others that simply couldn't make it up the hill. On one long hill in Bedford, NH I was stuck behind three cars who clearly had no idea that driving uphill requires both traction AND momentum. After waiting on the hill for 10 minutes I forced myself to pull the ultimate dickhead move and pass them.

This morning I spent a couple hours clearing my truck and my wife's car, and now I'm working on the final interview from Inkubus. On Thursday I received notice that I can't use any copyrighted material (or, at least none of the material I had intended to use) in the intro for the interview so friday night I had to go and shoot more footage. Not what I had planned for the intro, but it will do. Keep an eye on my blog, Waterborn's blog, and the front page for the interview tomorrow.

Our internet was out all day. Not as much snow, but what did fall here was HEAVY, so limbs and trees were falling left and right. Crazy weather indeed.
