I would be interested to see where he got his information. I know in the city of Chicago the birth rate for African Americans is closer to 3-4 per women.

hmmm....where would I fit in? I am a white woman with only 1 child. He is my only biological child and unless there is an amazing miracle there are no more in my future. BUT if it matters he is half african american... which of course for some people that is another subject...can't help it though...I fell in love with his father/my husband.

I don't see how mixed races can be included in this type of research. Don't take that the wrong way because a child is a child, but how do you put the same child in half of one pool while placing the other half in another? In order for a pure race to survive both parties must be the same race. The guy didn't say every white woman would have 2 kids. He didn't say averages as I previously mentioned lol. It would be right to assume he is going on averages.

Isn't this racsist, as he is trying to say that pure black is not replacing themselves? Should all the races only mix with themselves? What about over-population? What about being an American, instead of needing to identify as a black-american, white-american, asian -american. It's almost a type of master-race issue - where would a conversation like that go?

so it's racist to qutoe data gathered by the US governments own standards, to exspouse the information in making the point of the diminishing numbers of native born blacks? Specifically when no other ethnic group is facing this same statistic, come on Brad, he's not advocating race exclusive child bearing, he's not condeming inter-racial child bearing, he's saying that an ethnic group is not replenishing themselves (im researching now on total abortion numbers and impact on replacement numbers) , and if they stay the course, they will be no more.

I'm gonna take some flack for this - \r \r I'm sure that the census numbers are correct and all that, but I do not believe that the black population is in such serious decline as to warrant the term \"we are dying\". If the black population is dying, it is because of many other factors, not abortions and replacement statistics.\r \r

Yes, I corrected myself in my next post Bigpunishrswife. I'm sure it was just an oversight on your end though like it was mine.\r \r i don't find this to be racial at all. Racial includes some kind of attack whether it's mental or physical upon another race. He doesn't make one negative comment towards any other race. If you listen to black leaders speak you'll always hear of them talking about how to improve themselves as a race. Black on black crime is a huge problem along with AIDs. Now this. Doesn't mean they're going to fall off the planet tomorrow, but over time it would deminish the race slowly but surely. Numbers don't lie.
