way too much

First we have the Dismal Swamp getting struck by lightning and continues to burn for how many weeks now?  The smoke is so heavy at times that some patients are wearing masks at the hospital.  Then, we get an earthquake.  Not that exciting, just very unusual.  NOW!!!!!!  It is my weekend to work.  Well, yeh, I work most weekends, it seems.  Guess where?  Norfolk, VA, dead center in the eye of hurricane Irene.  I know that if I can get to the hospital, that I will have to stay at least over night on Saturday.  Now, they may have the road blocked so people can't head TOWARD the hurricane, which would be nice for me.  But, how would I know?  Oh, yeh, when I get all the way there and can't get thru the tunnel.  They have already announced that the midtown tunnel will close as soon as it looks like it will flood.  Crap.  This sucks.
