w00tw00tfrickinw00t!!!!!

So I post yesterday and it wasn't particularly funny, just me pissing and moaning about being pissy and moany.  I guess I'm hormonal. :) 

I sit at my laptop in my comfy warm hotel room and commence to hammering on some paperwork and listening to the podpod. (That's my iPod, that my darling wife got me for Xmas. 'Cause she loves me.  And I'm cool.)  I'm hearing Rob Zombie's 'Brickhouse 2003' and grooving along, banging on the keyboard.  From the corner of my eye, I see my celly light up.  I can't hear it so it is sheer coincidence that I look over and see it.  I notice the number is from the LA area and yank the phone up with one hand and the headphones out with the other.  Which nearly removes my inner ears and causes me to make a noise similar to this:

"Bleeaugrunchitongerrrrr!"  which of course just happens to be heard by whomever is calling me because I have flipped my phone open to answer it.

"Are you okay?"  says a male voice.

"Huuhhn, yeah, uh sorry about that, this is Red, how can I help you?"

"Is this ____?"  (If you don't know my real name, you are not in the Circle of Trust. Sorry!)

"Yes, it is, may I ask who is calling?"

"This is Leslie from Space X."

At this point, I'm pretty sure he didn't hear it, but I nearly w00ted out loud.  It's frickin' snowing up here.  This dude is probably wearing flipflops at work.

"We want you to come in on Saturday when you're back in town to interview with a few people," says Leslie, my new best friend.

"Hell ye...ahem..sure, that sound's great.  What time?"

So,  all pissing, moaning, whining and complaining aside, I got some great news today.
