Well, the situation with my wife's place of employment has reached the point to where we are seriously considering multiple complaints filed with the Department of Labor. After speaking to various people who are currently, or were management, and based off my own experience, we've come to the conclusion that the actions of my wife's management was not only unethical, but has also possibly created a hostile work enviroment. I've got more research ahead of me.

Each state has it's own specific labor laws. Most however give the employer the right to fire the employee for any reason, as long as it is not illegal. Such as Age, Religion, Disability, Sex etc. \r \r Hostile work environment is a blanket term and is really difficult to prove. Good luck bro, if you choose to fight the good fight I hope you win and make em' squeal like the pigs they are.

Well, we aren't looking for specific compensation... just want to make the realize that some of their actions were not appropriate and were unethical.\r \r If it takes a DoL complaint, so be it.
