Vendor Lunches
Gotta love them.
Had a vendor come in and take us out to Salt Grass Steak house. One of the nicer places to eat at. Probably a step up from Chili's, etc... Anyways, I got the Center Cut Fillet Steak. A nice $20 steak. Yum.
Of course, I only took 2 bites out of it. You see, I have a system for when vendors take us to lunch (if it's to the right restaurant). Usually we have a group of 10 or more people go out. So the vendor also orders appetizers, and they are usually the variety plate appetizers. So I'll eat the appetizers... in this case, some ribs and some spicy chicken breasts, and then eat my salad (they have the best salads at Salt Grass!).... And then, the entree comes, and I'm... full. So I will eat a couple of bites and take the rest home for either dinner or for the wife.
This vendor was even better. We got to order dessert to go, so the wife is getting Cheese Cake tonight!
