UK PS3 Launch

Well its finally arrived, not that I got one, or want one at the moment, I can think of better ways to spend £425 (and I'm sure that the Missus would have a say in that too.)

I read about the launch on the BBC's news website and it wasn't your usual launch.

No big celebrities, just cold fans waiting outside to get their hands on the console.

The first lucky 100 bought the console and got a free 46inch hd tv and a taxi ride home, to quote the BBC.....

"At the London launch everyone who bought a PS3 also received a free 46-inch HD television and a taxi home.

In total, the giveaway amounted to £250,000 worth of televisons to more than 100 gamers" (BBC News)

Well thats it for the UK, now the Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii can no longer be known as "Next gen" they are now the current gen, but which one is going to come out on top?

Can Sony replicate the success of the PS2 with the PS3?

Will the Wii become more than the sum of its parts?

Will the xbox 360 improve its failure rate, I really don't want to see a red ring of death on mine.
