Ugh

After my first night back in City of Heroes, I now remember why I love console gaming so much! So complicated.  I go to the game forums, thinking 'Let's find out what I should do with my character' and see sooooo much detail--TK MA CK DM FB IO SS CoT STF etc etc...this is .003 DPS more than that, never use this kick because the recharge rate is 45% slower than that one, etc etc.  I understand these are all hardcore gamers trying to be the absolute BEST, finding flavor-of-the-month and whatnot, but geez!!!! I just want to find a guy that looks cool and doesn't die all the time.  I guess it's my fault for even checking the forums, I'll just pick the stuff that I want and use it and who cares if I wasted a slot on both super speed AND super jump! Or I took Crane Kick instead of Eagle Claw.  Maybe I'll do 35% less damage per second but I'll look COOL doing it.  I am never going to PvP in this game anyway.  SO I guess that's why I like console games so much-- I can put in the game and start playing immediately.

The game is still damn fun though. And I'm merely level 13 right now!
