Tuesday Morning W00T!

I'm $100 richer this morning.

I entered into a NFL football pool seperate of my Fantasy Football League. You pick the games, and assign point values to each game. Well, going into last night's game, I was in the lead with 122 points out of a possible 136.

I had picked Jacksonville to win but had given the game only 1 point. If Jacksonville won, I would win, but if Pittsburgh won, I would tie for 2nd. So yesterday I was sweating and second guessing myself as to why in the hell did I pick Jacksonville? After watching last night's game, now I remember why. Home field + Great Defense almost always = win.

I don't have any favorite teams in the NFL, not really. I play fantasy football, so I am a fan of ALL the teams. But I've gotta tell you. Jacksonville's Defense is rock solid. Almost reminds me of Baltimore's 2001 Superbowl team. Almost. There's still a lot of season left to play, their offense needs more work, but I'm going to keep my eye on that team. (I should have bet on that game last night. The over/under was 37. I picked 31 as my total points tie-breaker for the pool. Would have won that as well since the final score was 9-0. Hell, the Colorado Rockies won their baseball game 20-8 last night.)

I'm 2-0 in my money league. Thank god for Ladanian Tomlinson. I got him with the #3 pick. So far he's giving me #1 pick points.
