Trains
Well, we spent the whole day riding Amtrak (the boy's dream). Rode to Portland (Amtrak 504 Cascades) and hang out for awhile--then did what the "train" people do and set out camp on the heated floor at the train station until our return (Amtrak 11 Coast Starlight )
but first we licked snow flakes

So glad to hear it was a legit ride, that stowaway hobo lifestyle can be really dangerous! Did you have any Dinty Moore stew to add to the ambiance? Nice to fill a boys dreams when possible M, what a cool Mom! ;-)
