Tornados

Man, tornadoes suck. I was enjoying a nice peaceful Tuesday at the fire station. Weather alerts all day saying the shit was gonna hit the fan later, Yea, yea, they say that crap all the time. Well, about 1730, all hell broke loose. Now, if any of you saw this stuff on the news, I'm in Mississippi just south of Memphis, TN. First call was to my engine company just after touchdown. Large warehouse collapse with fire and people trapped. Got on the scene and it was a sight to behold. 700,000 square foot warehouse demolished, tractor trailers IN the warehouse upside down, sideways, etc. Propane cylinders exploding and venting fire. No water pressure due to demolished sprinkler systems dumping all available water everywhere but where needed. At least the people trapped part wasn't true, they got out prior to my arrival. We still had what would have been a major response fire but we were on our own due to multiple calls and no help available. Finally got our little corner of hell under control after about two hours. Spent the next 12 hours trying to mitigate and stabilize. I hate tornadoes...........
