Todays Political Moment

Good stuff Bats, and an interesting site. Ive become a little more political myself lately and Ive been reading whatever I can get my hands on (on both sides of the issues). I recently found an online book of different essays and interviews that has a lot of good information in it that relates to our current war in the middle-east. The book is called \"Wars and Empire\" by Sam Vaknin and you can download it for free from Project Gutenberg at: http://www.gutenberg.org/etext/8218\r \r Check it out. It seems to be well researched and presents a lot information. I havent finished it yet, just found it yesterday, but it has been quite interesting so far.

I wouldnt be surprised. You know its sad but so many people have no idea about what the NeoCons and the Project For The New American Century is all about and how it and they have been the main driving force behind all of Bushes foreign policy and military decisions. I have always worried that there is a link between their argument that a \"new pearl-harbor\" was required to get the American people to support their doctrine of invading and dominating the middle east militarily, and the convenient timing of 911. Especially since so little was done in response to all the warnings and signs that that horrible event was on the horizon. Ok Ill take the tinfoil out from under my cowl now :-)- BAT
