Today's Trivia Fun-Fact

 The North American Yellow Pages Association (YPA) distributed over 540 million telephone books last year.  That's 1.5 books for every man, woman, and child in the country.

I've not used a paper telephone book to look anything up in close to ten years.  But I can't stop people from delivering them!  Yesterday another five-inch stack showed up on the front porch.  What an incredible waste of time and environmental resources!

The name on the bottom of the covers is AT&T Advertising Solutions.  I'm having a hard time deciding whether to recycle them or return them to the nearest AT&T wireless store....which would be infinitely more fun.

I really doubt this will help, but I opted out today.  I'm sure Cletus the phone book delivery cretin probably doesn't check the list.
