To cheat or not to cheat...
I just put in about an hour and a half on Mass Effect. Sweet game but I'm stuck. I keep getting wacked by this green chick that oozes out of the slimey plant thing. Do I go online and do the walkthrough or do I just hang tough and keep trying? Always a tough question. Back in the day you had to bear down and be patient with your skills. Since Nitendo Power came out, we're all addicted to the "quick fix". I couldn't have beaten Zelda without some dude I knew showing me all the hidden stuff. I guess it's time for bed and I'll have to try harder next time.

I'm not sure how far you've gotten in this fight but be aware that it is a long one. Have you fully leveled up? Also, check your settings. Make sure that the config to allow your party members to use their powers is enabled. By default it is not. They stand around getting killed instead of using the powers they have to fight. I've found the shotgun to be most effective with the creepers at that range. A guide won;t help you any more than that. Resist the temptation!
