Well, not really, but one can always hope.
Kinda bored today. I've been working on a massive project that was supposed to save our company millions of dollars a year over the next 3-5 years. Been working on it for 3 weeks. We were way ahead of the curve and had things ready to go, when we received word that the vendor we were going to use to support this project, decided that they didn't want to support us on this project. WTF?
This was a nation-wide project, and there aren't many vendors that can support nation-wide circuits. As such, CANCELLED. 3-4 weeks of hard work down the drain. I was looking forward to using my work on this project to push for a promotion. Ain't gonna happen now. *sigh*
Wife has started new job, and boy, is it nice that she gets to sleep in a little, and is home before I am. Good stuff. First day of school went off without a hitch for the little one, though, she was more nervous this morning then she was yesterday. Hopefully she'll meet some new friends.
