Tired

Yesterday I helped chaperone my daughter's 1st grade class at the Dallas Zoo.  Boy was it a Zoo!  I would estimate that there were 12-15 other elementary schools there at the same time, so there were kids everywhere.

Anyways, ours were easy to keep track of, as they wore red tie-died shirts and were easy to pick out anywhere.

But, none-the-less, tiring.  I had a group of 1 boy and 4 girls.  The boy would always be 2-3 exhibits ahead of us, and 1 of the girls was always 1-2 exhibits behind us.  The rest stuck around me.

Since their bus driver was an idiot and took 1.5 hours to get there, they only really had 2.5 hours to explore the zoo, and that really isn't enough time.

Next time I go to the zoo, it will just be with family.

250k HITS Contest

As some of you may have noticed, I haven't blogged much the past (2) weeks.  Needless to say, the past weeks have been complete chaos at home and at work, so my time has been limited.

I'm still mulling over what to offer to the lucky person who is my 250k visitor.  However, to alleviate the crush of people refreshing constantly trying to be that person, instead, I 'll accept screen shots of the people who hit between 249,990 - 250,020. 

In other words, the 30 screen shots I get with those hits showing will be put into a pool for the grand prize (yet to be decided).  From there, I will ask Doodi, or one of the other senior staff members to pick a number between 1-30, and that person will be the grand prize winner.  There will most likely be 2nd and 3rd place prizes, yet to be decided, which will also be picked randomly.

If you are able to get a screen-shot in that number range, please upload the screen shot to Image Shack, and then PM me the link.

Photoshopped screen shots will be immediately disqualified and made fun of publicly on the front page of my blog.

I will be the only person who knows which screen shot belongs to which person, so Doodi will be choosing blind.  The 1st screen shot begins at 249,990 and #30 screen shot will be 250,020.

NO DUPLICATES!  Only one screen shot will be accepted per person.  Once you have hit the magic number and become eligible, I request that you refrain from attempting to secure an extra chance by submitting more then one screen shot.  Duplicates will be disqualified, which will narrow down the field of numbers to choose from.

I'll have the prizes for the contest up by the end of Memorial Day Weekend.
