EDIT: Yeah, I was worried that some wouldn't get this. It is a reference to Frank Miller's Batman: The Darkknight Returns which he released in 1986.
If you haven't read that series, then you need to turn your comic book fan-boy card in NOW.
Basically, the story is set in the future, when Batman, at the age of 55, comes out of retirement (after the death of robin). This series, (4 Graphic Novels) possibly single-handedly changed how comic books presented stories and such.
The story is awesome, simply put. Batman kicks Superman's ass. No simple way to put it. Kicks. His. Ass.

I really want to understand this, but I don't. That site is pretty damn funny though.
Now THAT is some funny stuff. I did read that book but it's been a while. I guess Rob and Don didn't make much of an impression, although they should have!

That is some funny shit!! Haven't seen or thought about that in a looooong time. What a great chapter in comics and in Batman. Without a doubt some of Frank Millers best work ever. I also liked that site that it came from. Especially agreed with his Nov 7th comic reviews. Five of his first 6 reviews are books im really enjoying allot right now, Astonishing XMen, Starlord, Buffy, Highwaymen, if your not reading these you should check em out!!! Hey D-Man I have never seen that eps but have heard allot about it. I also think I just heard that its being released on DVD this month, with what ever season of the series it ran on. I read the Dark Knight returns the day it was released. Frank Miller basically recreated Batman the way he's seen today, which, arguably, is how he was originally intended before being the washed down gay 60s hero. The Legend of the Dark Knight series was a direct result of Miller's work. Guy's a genius, and that story should be in the comic book hall of fame.
