Well with the birth of my youngest daughter, I agreed with my wife that I would lay off of Video games for awhile.  So here I am 2 months, 2 weeks and 3 days later and my return is looming. Hopefully this weekend I will be "Allowed" to continue my quest to waste as much of my free time as possible.  My wife doesn't  really appreicate the older gamer.  Every now and then I will catch her playing pacman or some other arcade game and just hope she will understand my addiction.  Nevertheless, my time spent on online gaming, pales in comparison. So I guess my wife and I will continue to be in a heated battle over video games, because I will never stop playing.  "Do you hear me women" NEVER!   (lol)  So with all of this said, I'm just praying she will let me play.   


this message is from the one time BOSS of the house, I'm not exactly sure when I lost the title, but its gone now.  At present I'm requesting a recount of the ballots, I think I've been robbed of my title.  As the boss sometimes calls me a HALO addict and I couldn't agree more, but, they say the first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem......

Congrats on the new girl. I have a 4 month old and my wife is understanding about my gaming habits but finding the time to play in between feedings, changing and sleeping is damn hard. Good luck to you sir.

i gave up halo last sept for a couple months, just to spend more time with the wife. for a while it was fun\r but then the more time i spent with her the more time \r she drove me crazy with her boring reality tv shows.\r some i didnt mind, but some i just couldnt stand, so i found myself on my computer more. then slowly playing h3 more and more.\r im back now but only 2-3 days a week. which she is cool with. the diff between my break and yours was it was my decision vs her forcing me to quit

I understand and am in a similar boat as Mid, got a beautiful 4 month old little girl. Luckily for my gaming habit my wife works 2 nights a week from 7pm-7am. So when my daughter goes to bed at 8:30pm I hit the haloz box for about 4 hours.
