THE GUN EXPLODED!!!

Well My new gun in all of its glory is a piece of shit.  I took it out to the farm and shot it.  bam bam bam BOOOM.  OH SHIT WTF!!!   or something like that.  So i disassembled it and check head spacing and other things.  Looked at the round that had blown out the side of the casing.  Everything checked out.  Ok so at this point I am thinking maybe bad round, or maybe breach was not shut all the way.  So I reload  (yes i reload to try again)  Bam bam bam bam bam bam bam  BOOOOOOOOM  Smoke!!  Oh SHit.  Back to the work bench.  I tear down the rifle and run all my checks completely disassemble check every single part no blemishes nothing.  At this point I check lot numbers on my ammo and discover even though i loaded out of a different box of ammo it was the same lot number. Damn me and my  (I must buy all same lot number anal self)  10 boxes of ammo same lot number.  go buy 2 boxes of CCI ammo new lot number and 2 box Hornady.  I own a 17HMR and have shot thousands of hornady rounds not a single missfire or mishap.  So i am at the local shooting range last night with a friend and we are shooting pistols.  One of his friends is there shooting IDPA pistol comp.  His friend  sees my rifle setting on the bench and says "Dude cool rifle can i shoot"  without thinking I say "yea go ahead, ammo is case"  He loads it, aims it,  bam  BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM BOOOOOOOOOM.  The clip explodes and flies to pieces, his had is burned, but luckily not hurt.  Now the parts to convert my 22 to 17hm2 are for sale.  I am going back to 22lr and saying piss on the 17hm2.   I have built several rifles but this was my first and last 17hm2.  Called a gun smith friend of mine and he said he is having problems convert 10/22 over to 17hm2 also.  Oh well I guess you'll have that!!!!
