The Decline Of The \"Music\" Games...

Okay... so I've been playing Rock Band relegiously since the original release.  I always wasn't a huge fan of Guitar Hero because I'm mean I'm a vocalist... c'mon.  Here's the problem though.  Unlike all the other games with multiplayer (Call Of Duty, Halo, or Gears)... you can't find any really dedicated people on Rock Band anymore.  I play Rock Band 3 probably more than any other game I own (hell last night I sang for seven hours).  I'm just looking for some people to play with like on all the other games.  People who are proficiant at their respective instrument of choice, that don't mind getting some DLC together (really want to play Dance Gavin Dance, Emarosa, and Woe Is Me), and actually want to play a game together that's really fun.  I mean you tell me any other game where you can all sit and drink beer together... and no one really gets mad because "OH MY GOD MY K/D!!!".  Yeah I thought so...  So if there's any of you left out there like that... let me know.  I'm so tired of singing on my game alone.  I bought it to play with others...  if I wanted to play by myself I wouldn't pay $60 a year for Live and $80 a month for my net.

Hey Brandon,\r \r Point is that most of us also have other fish to fry and yeah, after five years of rythm-gaming without noticable innovations most of us returned to seeing what else is there to be had.\r \r RB3 innovated by adding pro-instruments, but simply by judging the decline in *pro-updates* we can safely say that it didn't work out that well for Harmonix.\r \r And even though the graphics got a major overhaul, the single player game got put in as if they had overlooked it. Something they coded in at the last possible moment. Not counting the pro-instruments, RB2 is still the better game.\r \r I can play bass at expert and hard with various degrees of success, but yeah... Skyrim and Saints Row the third... I'll be turning my interest to that.

I still play pretty regularly. I don't have the DLC you mentioned though. There's also a 30+ group on FB that's pretty active in RB. http://www.facebook.com/groups/58580039705/\r
